About Us

Our History
Growing Green Farms is owned by Keven and Vicki Bradley, who grew up on opposite sides of magnificent Glacier National Park. The park holds a special place in their hearts after years spent camping, hiking and horseback riding there, as well as fishing and swimming in its glacier-fed rivers and lakes.
Keven is a fourth-generation farmer. His great grandparents homesteaded in Glacier County in the early 1900s, where "the wheels fell off the wagon" and his great grandfather remarked that the grass was tall enough to touch the bellies of the horses. Now Keven's hope is that his grandchildren will be able to see and appreciate the glaciers for themselves, not just in photographs.
After years of prosperity, drought, hail and dust storms, the same land is still farmed by the Bradley family. They've noticed the change in weather patterns over the years to hotter summers and warmer winters with less snow. Local snowplows were once in regular use for grocery runs when snowdrifts reached the rooftops; now many rust away, leaning against fences all year round.
Keven and Vicki leased an adjacent plot of land in 2000 to found Growing Green Farms. It represents their goal of sustainable, environmentally friendly farming that can significantly contribute to the fight against global warming.
